About the Role:
We are seeking a driven, technical, and relationship-oriented Sales Representative to grow our Industrial Overhead Door division. You will manage the full sales cycle, from hunting new industrial accounts and visiting construction sites to estimating projects and closing deals. This role requires a mix of office-based quoting and active field sales across the Lower Mainland. We are also looking for a service salesperson with either door experience or a lot of construction experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and secure new B2B clients, including general contractors, property managers, warehousing facilities, and logistical hubs.
- Conduct onsite visits to assess customer needs, take precise physical door measurements, and evaluate structural requirements.
- Prepare accurate quotes and estimates for industrial sectional doors, rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, and dock equipment.
- Collaborate closely with our project management and installation teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience (experience in overhead doors, loading docks, commercial building materials, or construction sales is highly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and handle mechanical technical specifications (not required for the service sales position).
- License: Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record (essential for operating the company vehicle).
- Attributes: Strong negotiation skills, self-motivated, and comfortable working on construction sites.
