About Us
Toothworks is a modern, patient-focused dental clinic network with multiple locations in the heart of downtown Toronto. As part of the Toothworks (Dentalcorp) network, we're committed to delivering exceptional dental care in a professional, welcoming environment. We're growing our clinical team and looking for dedicated Dental Assistants to join us at our College Park and Richmond Adelaide locations.
The Role
As a Dental Assistant, you'll work directly alongside our dental team to deliver a smooth, comfortable experience for every patient. You'll be organized, hands-on, and ready to support wherever needed — from preparing operatories to assisting chairside during procedures. Our downtown locations serve a busy professional patient base, so we need someone who stays composed under pressure and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed.
- Record patient information and treatment notes accurately in Abeldent.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment.
- Support the team with smooth patient flow and day-to-day clinic operations.
Schedule
This is a 5-day per week position including Saturdays. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. As we operate across multiple downtown Toronto locations, candidates must be flexible with their schedule and available to provide coverage across clinics as needed. Exact days will be confirmed at the time of offer based on availability and clinic needs.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent clinical experience.
- NDAEB certified or currently enrolled in the NDAEB certification exam (mandatory).
- Experience with Abeldent or any dental practice management software is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and infection control practices.
- Comfortable working Saturdays as part of a regular weekly schedule.
- Warm, professional, and patient-focused with a team-first attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to bring your best to every shift.
How to Apply
If you're a motivated Dental Assistant looking to work in the heart of downtown Toronto, we'd love to hear from you. Please indicate in your application which location you are applying for, or if you are open to both. Submit your resume and a brief cover letter through Indeed.
