Administrative Assistant

A mature individual is required for administrative support and to perform a variety of general accounting tasks in a fast-paced working environment at our Mississauga office.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Receptionist duties – Greet, assist, and/or direct clients and visitors.
  • Receive, direct, and relay telephone and fax messages. Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required.
  • Process mail and courier.
  • Maintain the current filing system for project-related items.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and social events.
  • Assign and track project numbers, including setting up related file folders.
  • Enter data, such as employee time entries, into the system using defined QuickBooks.
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports, if required.
  • Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigate questionable data.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • QuickBooks experience is an asset.
  • Driver's license is an asset.
  • Verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are assets.
  • Administrative experience is an asset.
