Administrative Assistant
A mature individual is required for administrative support and to perform a variety of general accounting tasks in a fast-paced working environment at our Mississauga office.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Receptionist duties – Greet, assist, and/or direct clients and visitors.
- Receive, direct, and relay telephone and fax messages. Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required.
- Process mail and courier.
- Maintain the current filing system for project-related items.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and social events.
- Assign and track project numbers, including setting up related file folders.
- Enter data, such as employee time entries, into the system using defined QuickBooks.
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports, if required.
- Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Investigate questionable data.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- QuickBooks experience is an asset.
- Driver's license is an asset.
- Verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are assets.
- Administrative experience is an asset.
