Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests utilizing modern clinical equipment.
- Diagnose, manage, and treat ocular diseases and visual disorders.
- Provide personalized consultations regarding prescription lenses, specialty contact lenses, and preventative eye health.
- Co-manage pre- and post-operative care where applicable.
- Maintain accurate, efficient electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with our on-site optical team to ensure a seamless handoff for patient eyewear needs.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school.
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) and in good standing with the College of Optometrists of Ontario.
- Strong therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (TPA) certification.
- A patient-first mentality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
