We are looking for certified millwrights to join our team in Orillia ASAP! This is a direct-hire position - that means you will be on our client's payroll from day 1! Let us connect you with an exciting career opportunity!

Shift Options - choose one that works best for you:

Continental shift, straight days (7am-7pm)
Continental shift, straight nights (7pm-7am)

Pay rate:

$35/hour
$0.65/hour shift premium for nights

Responsibilities:

Perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs on production and facilities equipment
Install, dismantle, and overhaul machinery
Analyze mechanical problems and troubleshoot errors and breakdowns
Perform inspections, PMs, and correct issues through the work order program in a timely manner
Operate machine tools including lathes, drills, grinders, saws, hand tools, etc.

Qualifications:

Red Seal Millwright License
5+ years of hands-on repair and maintenance of machinery in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Technical skills with experience working on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Strong knowledge of preventative/predictive maintenance schedules
PLC knowledge and experience considered an asset
Proven ability to lead a task or project as well as take direction from others
