Heritage Service Group is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to support our people, culture, and business operations within our Key Equipment Services and Enviro-Tech Mechanical divisions. In this role, you'll partner with leaders and employees across Western Canada, driving key HR initiatives that support talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, onboarding, and engagement. We are always growing, which means this is a great opportunity for the right individual to develop their career with us! This is an active job opening for a vacancy that currently needs to be filled.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee development programs.
- Assist with employee relations, performance management, and policy administration.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Help drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on HR projects and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Education in Human Resources, or a related field (Business Administration, Psychology, etc.) is preferred
- HR designation (or progress toward one) is an asset.
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build relationships and handle confidential information with professionalism.
