We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to work as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk with our client in Mississauga, ON.

Pay: Up to $28.00/hour

Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm plus overtime hours

Responsibilities:

Operating the Counterbalance forklift to move cargo and load/unload different sizes of wood (i.e., 16' lengths of lumber) and wood crates to/from trucks flatbeds
Entering and updating the system (WMS) with orders and warehouse activity
Communicating with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel
Other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Valid forklift license
Previous experience operating the Counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or similar facility
Experience handling large products with a forklift
Comfortable operating the forklift in tight spaces
Comfortable working in a busy facility
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Able to work overtime as needed
Able to work Monday-Friday on the day shift
