Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Superintendent | Site Manager to oversee and coordinate construction and renovation activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing on-site operations, coordinating trades, maintaining project schedules, and supporting the overall success of construction projects.
ResponsibilitiesTrade Management
- Manage and coordinate on-site trades to ensure a smooth, efficient, and well-organized construction process.
- Monitor work progress and maintain effective communication among all project stakeholders.
- Conduct and coordinate required municipal and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Arrange and coordinate concrete deliveries.
- Determine required quantities and oversee the use of appropriate additives and materials as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules.
- Coordinate trade activities to optimize workflow, productivity, and project timelines.
- Promote and enforce workplace health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with safety personnel to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee site deliveries.
- Work closely with administrative and project teams to ensure accurate tracking, scheduling, and documentation of materials and equipment.
- Create, distribute, and track deficiency lists.
- Coordinate corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies to maintain project momentum and quality standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, Site Superintendent, or Site Manager overseeing construction projects and site operations.
- Strong knowledge of construction inspections, regulatory compliance, and site safety management.
- Experience coordinating concrete deliveries, calculating material quantities, and managing specialty requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage detailed construction schedules and coordinate multiple trades effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant construction management software.
- Working knowledge of occupational health and safety practices and experience collaborating with safety personnel.
- Experience managing site logistics, deliveries, and material coordination.
- Proven ability to identify, document, track, and resolve construction deficiencies efficiently.
