Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced GhostDraft Technical Lead to support a large-scale HYBRID Guidewire Cloud migration initiative in Toronto. The consultant will lead the migration of document production capabilities from SmartCOMM to GhostDraft as part of a Guidewire InsuranceSuite transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Define migration strategy and overall technical solution architecture
Lead SmartCOMM to GhostDraft template migration, conversion, and optimization
Design and support integrations with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter)
Lead development activities, code reviews, and delivery governance
Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed
Manage technical risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
Collaborate with business, technical teams, vendors, and delivery leadership

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on GhostDraft experience
- DOCX templates
- Business rules
- Document composition
Previous SmartCOMM migration experience
Experience integrating GhostDraft with Guidewire Cloud / InsuranceSuite
Strong technical leadership experience
Ability to define architecture and lead delivery teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have:

Insurance industry experience
Guidewire Cloud migration experience (GW v10.0 to Cloud preferred)
Experience working in large enterprise transformation programs
