We are currently hiring 2 Bilingual Front Desk Support Specialists for our showroom locations in Markham and Ajax.
Fluency in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese is required for this position.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced retail showroom environment. Successful candidates will begin as temporary employees with the opportunity to transition into a full-time permanent position based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers as they enter the showroom.
- Provide exceptional customer service in English and Mandarin or Cantonese.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering general product inquiries.
- Process customer purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, debit, credit, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct customer inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and showroom.
- Support the sales team with general administrative and customer service duties.
- Assist with other tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese (required).
- Previous customer service, retail, receptionist, cashier, or front desk experience is preferred.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable assisting customers in a showroom environment.
- Basic computer and POS system experience.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
