The Florist role based in Toronto's Yorkville area focuses on creating beautiful, event-specific floral designs and mixed arrangements using cut flowers and plants. The florist is responsible for advising clients, arranging bouquets, and handling customer orders through phone and email communications.
Schedule:
Tue-Sat 9am-6pm (min 40h/week)
(Mon and Sun off)
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to recommend flower combinations and arrangements
- Create palatable, event-specific bouquets and mixed floral designs
- Care for flowers to ensure freshness and quality
- Manage customer orders received via phone and email
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
Required Qualifications
- Good English proficiency
- At least 1 year of experience as a florist
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Floral design expertise
- Experience in customer communication
