Safety Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Safety Officer (CSO) to help maintain a safe, compliant, and productive work environment on our construction projects. Qualifications

• Certified Construction Safety Officer (CSO), NCSO, CRSP, or equivalent safety designation preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Experience conducting inspections, incident investigations, and safety training.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor job sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and worker orientations.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers to promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety legislation.
