Window Blind Showroom Coordinator

Location: Hunter Douglas Gallery showroom in Beach(es), Toronto

Hours: Minimum 35 hours/week including Saturdays; opportunity to work/earn more

Compensation: $20.50/hr plus incentives, commission, and benefits. On-target earnings range from $44k to $55k.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and sales-driven self-starter to join our team as a Showroom Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone with excellent customer service and organizational skills who has a passion for home décor. You will play a crucial role in integrating sales with order fulfillment, managing installation details, providing top-tier customer service, and handling administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Showroom Management: Ensure the showroom environment is ready for success.

Customer Engagement: Showcase the latest products and styles to showroom customers. Be open to learning about the world of window coverings!

Appointment Booking & Sales Goals: Convert leads into in-home appointments and meet quarterly and annual sale targets.

Administrative Duties: Complete bookkeeping tasks, track prospects and leads, maintain CRM databases, and handle filing, data entry, and invoicing.

Team Support: Provide ongoing support to in-home sales consultants, act as a liaison between the sales team, clients, and installers, and assign weekly tasks to part-time support staff.

Customer Experience: Ensure an immersive and positive client experience in line with our values and vision.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education will be an asset.

Minimum of 2 years in a face-to-face selling or customer service role (showroom experience preferred).

Goal and sales-driven, detail-oriented, personable, and energetic with strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, including social media proficiency.

Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.

Availability to work weekends.

Experience selling luxury products, window coverings, or home décor is an asset.
