Gas Technician (G2 Licensed) – Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician or Equivalent
Location: Southern Ontario
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are a growing commercial kitchen equipment service company that has been in business for over 25 years. We are seeking an experienced Gas Technician (G2 Licensed) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience servicing and
troubleshooting gas-fired commercial cooking equipment.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial gas cooking equipment including fryers, ovens, grills, ranges, steamers, and other foodservice equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service calls.
* Troubleshoot gas, electrical, and mechanical issues.
* Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
* Provide professional customer service while working directly with clients.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Qualifications
* Valid G2 Gas Technician Licence (required).
* Minimum 5 years of experience working with commercial gas equipment or equivalent.
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
* Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment is considered a strong asset.
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
* Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
