StorageVault owns 232 of these locations plus over 5,000 portable storage units representing over 13.2 million square feet of rentable space on over 767 acres of land. StorageVault is represented regionally under the following brands: Access Storage, Sentinel Storage, Depotium Mini-Entrepôt and Cubeit Portable Storage. StorageVault also provides last mile storage and logistics solutions through FlexSpace Logistics, offers concierge moving services through MoveBuddy and professional records management services, such as document and media storage, imaging and shredding services through RecordXpress.

This multi-platform approach enables us to leverage scale, brand recognition and operational efficiencies to maximize the value potential of our spaces.

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Junior Recruiter who has 2 years' experience working in a recruitment role - ideally in a high volume and fast-paced environment. As a Talent Recruiter for our Retail / Administrative Operations, you will support recruitment initiatives for frontline careers across Canada.

· The Junior Talent Recruiter is responsible for candidate engagement throughout the hiring cycle (including job posting management, sourcing, conducting and scheduling interviews, reviewing candidate resumes, completing necessary paperwork and processes to onboard new hires while proactively working to ensure that SVI builds a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

· Sourcing, phone screening, and recruiting candidates for roles related to the Self-Storage industry.

· Interviewing candidates – Phone, Video calls

· Qualifying candidates and advancing to 2nd interview

· Processing forms and applications related to qualified candidates.

· Working with our team of Regional Managers to ensure candidates match the needs of each job ad.

· Daily review of candidate applicants using our ATS system, moving candidates along talent pipeline following interviews.

· Weekly updating of job ads on VidCruiter and updating as required.

· Working with vendor partners, as required.

Technical Skills/Knowledge Required:

· Effective oral and written communication skills in both English and French (preferred)

· Experience with ATS and/or Recruitment Software (VidCruiter preferred)

· The candidate should have 2 years' full cycle recruitment experience

· Education in Human Resources and Business Administration preferred

· Proven track record of success in talent acquisition with strong recruitment skills

· Ability to multi-task and adapt to a rapidly changing environment

· Strong interviewing, negotiation, and closing skills

· Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, etc.

· The ability to prioritize, self-start, and multi-task with little supervision

· The ability to quickly and independently begin the hiring process

· Experience working under tight deadlines

· Processing forms and applications related to qualified candidates.

· Driver's License and access to a reliable source of transportation as travel may be required with advance notice.

Experience:

· Talent acquisition: 2-3 years (preferred)

· Clerical processing: 2 years (preferred)

· Call center: 2 years (preferred)

Location:

· Burlington, ON

Work from home remotely out of our Burlington, Ontario office, until further notice.

Hours of Work:

· 10:00 am - 6:00 pm E.S.T. Monday to Friday - flexibility with weekends (from time to time) is required, for job fairs and events commence.
