Automotive Service Technician - (HVAC)

MFM Limited Partnership, a Mikisew Group company, is currentlyseekingskilled and qualified candidates for the position ofAutomotive Service Technician (AST)/Light Duty Mechanicto join our operationatKearl Lake.MFM LPprovides comprehensive Client services in vehicle inspection and light duty repair services.

Schedule:14 dayson,14 daysoff, 11.50 hours per day.Work is conducted under anHours of Work Averaging Arrangement (HWAA) -formerlyknown as a Compressed Work Week.

Work Location:Position will be based at the Kearl Lake facility,locatedNorth of Fort McMurray, AB.

This is aFly In/Fly Out opportunity with camp/accommodationsprovided.Flights provided from the hub centers of Edmonton, AB and/or Calgary, AB with direct flights to site.Workersare responsible fortravel to/from the travel hubs and their residence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repair work and routine maintenance on light duty vehicles and equipment,

• Checklight duty equipment such as light duty trucks, vans,carsand support equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment todetermineextent of repairrequired

• Adjust,repairor replace defective parts,componentsorsystems

• Complete service reports

• Other duties asassigned

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Automotive Service Technician (AST)

• Light Duty Technician Certification

• Red Seal Certificationpreferred

• Valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers License

• First Aid Certificationrequired

• 5 years experience working in a light duty automotive facility servicing light vehicles and support equipment.

• Successful candidatesare responsible forproviding their own general tools. A tool allowance is provided as part of the compensation package.
