Forklift Operator (SR3) – Kingston

People Store is currently looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to assist with a short-term project in Kingston. This role will require candidates to complete forklift drive tests prior to placement.

The position will involve various warehouse functions, including handling inbound and outbound loads, product put away, and cycle counts. Candidates must complete forklift drive tests and meet the standards set by the company before being placed.

Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various lifting devices, including narrow aisle reach, reach truck, order picker, and dock stocker.
• Perform general warehouse functions such as picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Handle inbound loads, perform cycle counts, receive products, and put away stock.
• Replenish stock locations and maintain an organized environment.
• Work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures to meet productivity standards.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Certified to operate forklifts (Narrow Aisle Reach, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Dock Stocker).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple tasks.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality.
• Positive attitude, flexible, adaptable, high energy, and self-motivated.
• Commitment to providing superior customer service.
