Position Summary
Amedeo's Italian Bistro is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure every guest receives exceptional hospitality from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries.
• Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth dining room operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance area.
• Assist guests with special requests and accommodate seating preferences when possible.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Support the front-of-house team during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an asset.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
