Position Summary
Amedeo's Italian Bistro is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure every guest receives exceptional hospitality from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries.
- Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth dining room operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance area.
- Assist guests with special requests and accommodate seating preferences when possible.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
- Support the front-of-house team during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
