Metallurgical Engineering Manager

Role: Lead our talented metallurgical team to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that push the boundaries of mechanical engineering performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspire and mentor a team of metallurgical engineers while building a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Oversee metallurgical design and processes, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to scope projects, set realistic timelines, and optimize resource allocation.
• Perform in-depth design analyses to maximize performance, durability, and service life.
• Champion R&D efforts to develop next-generation designs and processing techniques aligned with company strategy.
• Own project budgets, schedules, and deliverables—delivering on time and within scope.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
• 15+ years of metallurgical engineering experience, including 10+ years in leadership/management.
• Strong track record in materials characterization and failure analysis.
• Deep expertise in key processes: welding, heat treatment, casting.
• Proven ability to successfully manage and deliver complex projects.

Nice-to-Have:

• Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in mechanical design.
• Background in custom heavy manufacturing.

Technical Skills:

• Skilled with metallurgical simulation and analysis software.
• Hands-on experience with materials testing equipment and methods.
• Working knowledge of industry standards and practices.
