Full Time Furnace Operator

A leading global producer in Mississauga has an opening for a full-time Furnace Operator.

What You Bring:

Certificate in heat treatment
Licensed in Forklift and Overhead Crane
High School Diploma
Strong attention to detail
Experience and knowledge of furnace operations and inspections

$28-$35/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor vacuum, atmosphere, and nitriding furnaces
Familiar with forklifts and overhead cranes
Prepare loads for heat treatment furnaces
Perform minor furnace or equipment maintenance and cleaning
Conduct inspections
Perform sandblasting of parts when required
Replace gases when needed
Report potential risks or issues
Regular housekeeping of the shop floor
Manage furnace logs
