What are the Responsibilities?You'll be at the heart of plant operations; running equipment, supporting test campaigns, and helping shape the future of process development.
  • Operate plant equipment safely, efficiently, and effectively
  • Participate in test campaigns and production runs to support technology development
  • Monitor processes using HMI systems and conduct regular plant walk-throughs
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to plant upsets to get systems back online quickly
  • Adjust process parameters to achieve target results
  • Maintain detailed logs, reports, and operational data
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and oversee contractors on-site
  • Contribute ideas, identify improvements, and implement solutions based on lessons learned
  • Follow and enforce all HSE policies (LOTO, confined space, hot work, PPE, etc.)
  • Conduct daily inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits
  • Actively identify and resolve unsafe conditions
  • Support a strong, positive safety culture across all shifts
What are the Requirements?We're looking for mechanically inclined, hands-on individuals who thrive in fast-moving environments:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in plant operations or industrial environments (oil & gas, water treatment, pulp & paper, etc.)
  • Technical education such as Power Engineering or Engineering Technology Diploma is an asset
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Comfortable with physically demanding work and outdoor conditions
  • A proactive mindset—someone who takes initiative and looks for ways to improve operations
Schedule & Environment
  • 12-hour shifts (days & nights) on a 7-on / 7-off rotation
  • Work in a dynamic plant environment with exposure to weather and industrial conditions
  • Hands-on role requiring mobility, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and active work throughout the shift
