Colortex Screen Printing & Embroidery is seeking an artistic minded individual with experience as a screen printer to help operate our automatic screen printing press. We don't expect our team members to know everything, we want everyone to grow as a group. We strive at sharing knowledge with each other.

Responsibilities:

• Press operating
• Checking stock for customer purchase orders and ensuring there are no discrepancies.
• Unpacking stock for order completion
• Answering the receiving bay door to receive incoming stock
• Ensuring there are no discrepancies in deliveries from couriers
• Helping unload shirts from the machine and into the belt dryer
• Folding and boxing completed shirts
• Cleaning screens
• Preparing Screens
• Exposing screens to create stencils for print
• Cleaning equipment
• Cleaning work areas
• and more…

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with automatic screen printing press
• Multi-tasking
• Knowledge of design and photo-editing software
• Deadline and detail-oriented

In 2012 the business savvy Regimbal family bought Colortex screen printing & embroidery and have been expanding the company to what it is today since its acquisition. With the help of highly qualified and experienced staff Colortex has been able to become a better business, offering a wider products and services offering.
After acquiring Colortex Screen Printing & Embroidery the first large restructure move was to renovate one large facility that houses both companies. The Regimbal company has been in business for nearly 90 years in Ottawa and has seen year over year growth due to loyalty and high quality services and products. The facility is over 8‚000 square feet, 4,000 of which is Colortex.
At the end of 2014, Colortex Screen Printing & Embroidery upgraded its automatic screen printing press. At the time, being the 3rd shop in all of Canada to own and operate an Roq ECO P16XL press from the leading screen printing Supply Company: Ryonet. Our Roq was also the largest of its kind in the country when we first received it. This machine for Colortex Screen Printing and embroidery has been a game changer and has helped us grow to the business that we are today. With this acquisition it has increased or quality and productivity enormously.
Mainly dealing in contract screen printing and embroidery, no job is too big or too small for our team to surpass your expectations. Colortex screen printing & embroidery is a team dedicated to providing quality apparel decorated services and retail finishes.. Maybe we have a high combination of experience amongst the team members but that doesn't mean we stopped seeking to constantly learn new techniques, processes and methods. We are committed to constantly expanding our knowledge and skills in order to offer you the best services possible.In the last years many things have changed for us, in 2019 we renovated our facility in order to accommodate more equipment and better organize our systems and processes for our clients. We are now equipped with an interactive shop management system that allows you to stay updated and aware of your complete order. Mock ups and order confirmations are now generated to this platform for quick and efficient order processing.We are also pleased to announce that we are a Sanmar Consolifreight which provides truly free shipping to us from anything shipped from Sanmar.
From a screen printing decoration standpoint we are now equipped with 2 state of the art automatic presses, and 1 manual press in order to increase the consistency from print to print as well as output capabilities. We have also overhauled our dark room and it is now being automated.
Our embroidery department has also completely been updated with new embroidery machines in the last year. We are now equipped with 21 heads of embroidery that allows us to embroider finer details, 3d embroidery as well as patches and applique. We have now also added domestic sewing machines and a post bed sewing machine.
