Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator will support a variety of human resources functions, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee file management, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Create and post job advertisements across various recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and coordinate candidate communications.
- Schedule interviews and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Support recruitment efforts for a variety of healthcare and community-based roles, including nurses, physiotherapists, personal support workers, registered social workers, chiropodists, and case managers.
- Assist with the organization, management, and digitization of employee files.
- Ensure employee documentation remains compliant with organizational and legislative requirements.
- Support the preparation of HR reports and administrative documentation.
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries and provide general HR support.
- Provide additional administrative support as required.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous co-op, internship, or HR experience considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of HR principles and employment practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility when responding to changing business needs.
- Contract position
- Full-time, 35 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday schedule.
- Flexible work hours available (8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., or 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
- Hybrid work arrangement with approximately four days onsite per week.
- Occasional travel between community-based locations in West Toronto may be required; access to a vehicle is considered an asset.
