Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting manuals, reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Assisting to maintain and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Operating hoisting and lifting devices as necessary during the repair of machinery.
• Working under supervision, and with others to solve mechanical and technical problems.
• Ability to understand work instructions and use sound judgment where needed to perform assigned tasks.
• Communicating and explaining to others what needs to be done.
• Working accurately with numbers, and on occasion doing basic drawings of machine parts.
• Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Using welding equipment, hand and power tools as necessary.
• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance work.
• Observing safety in accordance with government and company standards.
• Writing maintenance reports.

Experience:

• 1 or more years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• 2 years of forklift experience.
• Bobcat certificate is an asset.
