Training Coordinator (Hybrid)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Survalent is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Training Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the planning, development, and administration of engaging training programs for customers, partners, and internal employees. Working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams, you will play an important role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality training programs and learning experiences. Essential Functions:

  • Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
    • Manage and maintain the LMS to ensure training courses, learning paths, assessments, certifications, enrollments, and learner access are accurate and up to date.
    • Ensure LMS content and records are reviewed regularly to ensure alignment with current product, process, and business requirements.
  • Training Content Development & Multimedia Production
    • Develop and maintain engaging training materials, including videos, tutorials, presentations, participant guides, job aids, and other learning resources.
    • Apply instructional design best practices to translate technical information into effective learning content that drives knowledge retention and learner engagement.
  • Training Delivery Coordination
    • Coordinate training schedules, guides, logistics, and supporting materials for virtual and in-person training event setup and execution.
    • Support facilitators and instructors before, during, and after training sessions to ensure successful learning experiences.
  • Training Administration & Customer Support
    • Manage training administration activities, including attendee registrations, payments, cancellations, and refunds.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for training-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service to internal and external participants.
  • Department Communications & Support
    • Triage incoming training department emails and route inquiries to the appropriate team members.
    • Support ongoing communication initiatives related to training programs, updates, and announcements.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Generate and distribute training department reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
    • Track attendance, course completion rates, learner satisfaction scores, and certification status.
    • Maintain training records, communication templates, distribution lists, documentation, and audit requirements.
    • Prepare reports and recommendations for management regarding training program effectiveness and utilization.
  • Other duties as required.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience in Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in training coordination, learning administration, instructional design, or a related role.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual training platforms, and content authoring tools.
  • Experience producing and editing training videos and multimedia learning resources.
  • Strong organizational, project management, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with LMS administration, instructional design methodologies, and reporting/analytics tools is considered an asset.
  • Experience with video editing software and supporting customer-facing training programs is considered an asset.

This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Manager of Product Knowledge and Enablement. The salary range for this role is $55,000-$70,000.
