Our client is recruiting for a Bilingual Field Service Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, installing, and servicing specialized equipment while providing technical support and training to customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for equipment installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and service-related issues.
- Support and guide a team of field technicians through training, technical updates, and best practices.
- Coordinate service activities, review work orders, and ensure service quality standards are met.
- Work closely with service partners across North America to support customer requirements.
- Manage technical documentation, spare parts programs, equipment certifications, and service resources.
- Support special projects, product upgrades, demonstrations, and customer training initiatives.
- Travel as needed to provide on-site support, technical expertise, and equipment training.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support.
- Background in refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, electromechanical systems, appliance repair, or similar technical environments.
- Relevant technical certifications or licenses are considered a strong asset.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
- Experience with equipment installations, warranty service, upgrades, and retrofits.
- Comfortable working with service partners, contractors, and field technicians.
- Experience using service management, dispatch, or work order systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable training others and serving as a technical resource.
- Ability to travel throughout Canada and the U.S.
