Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day production management of the Plant and the training of all production employees. Production Supervisor must be available to work day or evening shift (with premium) as required for extended periods of time.
Duties:-
- Day shift: Open Plant at beginning of shift, turning on computers and compressors
- Evening Shift: Ensure everything is shut down, doors locked, alarms set including yard gates, all personnel vacated
- Schedule and prioritize daily workflow (on-going) in consultation with the Operations Manager, Shipping, Maintenance and other shift supervisor
- Provide end of shift production information to the next shift Production Supervisor
- Ensure the security of Nu-Fab premises
- Monitor and ensure safety standards and takes appropriate action
- Identify and implement ways and means to continuously improve Plant productivity and quality
- Ensure quality of incoming and outgoing product by conducting as many inspections as are required
- Resolve production problems in the yard related to stacking and loading product
- Maintain equipment on a daily basis through problem identification , minor repair and daily preventative maintenance
- Manage materials within the plant
- Perform inventory counts monthly and as needed
- Encourage and be open to ideas from staff and peers, ensure that daily huddles are effective and motivating
- rain, develop, direct, promote and discipline all staff reports
- Maintain a positive relationship with all staff using good communication skills
- Instill strong Customer Service Policies with staff
- Follow and have staff follow Company Policies
- Resolve employee complaints and concerns
- Ensure staff use time management skills
- Maintain security of premises
Knowledge/ Experience :-
- Manufacturing technology, particularly related to wood products, truss manufacturing, and building component manufacturing.
- Continuous Improvement principles, tools, and culture.
- Employee supervision, coaching, and training.
- Computer operation and production-related systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Planning, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
- Operation, minor maintenance, and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
- Administrative processes and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Assemblers (typically 10–20 employees, depending on seasonal production requirements)
Education:-
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift Certification.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
