Rexel Canada operates under five distinct banners: Rexel Atlantic, Rexel Utility, Westburne, Nedco, LTL, and Talley. Rexel Canada – Atlantic Division, a leader in the energy solutions & electrical distribution industry, is looking for a Counter/Inside Sales Associate located in our Fredericton branch.

What You Will Do With Us

As the Counter/Inside Sales Associate, you will build relationships with our customers by assisting with any product inquiries, maintaining the customer database, and receiving & processing orders. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will support the field sales and project management teams.

• Sales Support: You will assist customers with any inquiries in-person, via phone, and at the counter.

• Brand Ambassador: You will build brand recognition while supporting sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences. You will consistently ensure that our corporate image is reflected.
• Detail-Oriented: You will actively and continuously provide up-to-date status notifications on orders and follow policies and procedures for order processing.

Who Are You

• Product knowledge of the electrical business and/or understanding of basic electricity would be an asset.
• You have 1-2 years of prior inside/counter sales experience.
• You have the proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• You have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure while maintaining a good attitude.
• You have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to impart knowledge.
• You are self-motivated and have a thirst for knowledge. You enjoy learning and are motivated to take all available training offered by Rexel and/or its manufacturing partners.
• You have experience using inventory management systems, including AS400 (an asset).
