We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Night Audit Supervisor to join our hotel team. This role is responsible for overseeing overnight front desk operations, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation, and delivering excellent guest service throughout the night shift. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work independently, and committed to maintaining high standards of hospitality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and review all night audit processes and front desk logbooks

  • Balance and reconcile all departmental postings including Front Desk, Restaurant, and Lounge

  • Close daily batches for all revenue centers

  • Prepare and verify adjustment logs, credit card reports, paid-out logs, and F&B adjustments

  • Print and review daily accounting and sales reports

  • Ensure accuracy of all financial transactions and postings

  • Perform Guest Service Agent (GSA) duties including check-in and check-out

  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly and professionally

  • Ensure 100% guest satisfaction through proactive service recovery

  • Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions

  • Maintain updated brochures, maps, and guest information materials

  • Supervise overnight front desk operations and support staff

  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and brand standards

  • Train and guide night staff on audit procedures and guest service protocols

  • Ensure smooth communication between night and morning shifts

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Hospitality diploma or related education is an asset

  • Strong knowledge of hotel front desk operations and guest service standards

  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions during night shifts

  • Proficient computer skills; experience with hotel PMS systems is an asset

  • Ability to handle stressful situations and guest concerns professionally


Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of hotel front desk, guest services, or night audit experience required

  • Supervisory or team lead experience in hospitality is an asset

  • Experience with night audit procedures, balancing reports, and financial reconciliation preferred

  • Experience in hotel, extended stay, or branded properties (e.g., Best Western) is an asset
