Private PSW

I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide weekend home care for a fun client in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role involves delivering personalized care to me, a lady with quadriplegia. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care, using a ceiling lift, and must love dogs. Experience with spinal cord injury a plus! A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for me through attentive and respectful caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assist me with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and bowel routine
• Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health status
• Prepare nutritious meals
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Follow care plans accurately and communicate any changes or concerns to me
• Feed and love two dogs
