Position Overview

Bayswater Vancouver is seeking a dedicated and student-centered professional to coordinate ourstudent services and accommodation programs, including homestay and residence.

This role is critical to ensuring an exceptional student journeyfrom arrival through departureby overseeing accommodation placements, coordinating logistics, and supporting student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Accommodation Program Oversight

  • Manage and coordinate student placements in homestay and residence accommodations
  • Maintain strong relationships with homestay families and residence partners
  • Ensure quality standards, safety, and student satisfaction across all accommodation options
  • Monitor placements and resolve accommodation-related issues promptly

Student Arrival & Experience

  • Coordinate airport pick-up and drop-off services
  • Manage arrival schedules and communicate details with students, agents, and service providers
  • Support student onboarding and orientation processes

Student Support & Services

  • Act as a key point of contact for student concerns, issues, and wellbeing
  • Resolve complaints professionally and in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with the academic and operations teams to ensure a high-quality student experience
  • Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment

Insurance & Administration

  • Enroll students in health insurance programs and maintain accurate records
  • Assist students with insurance-related inquiries and claims
  • Ensure processes meet compliance and regulatory requirements

Group Bookings

  • Support the coordination of group bookings, including accommodation, transportation, and logistics
  • Liaise with agents and internal teams to deliver seamless group experiences

Emergency Support

  • Participate in a rotating 24/7 emergency contact schedule
  • Respond to urgent student matters and escalate when necessary

Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Business, Education, or related field
  • 25 years experience in student services, accommodation, or international education
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with international students and cross-cultural environments
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems
