The Carpenter's Helper plays a vital role in supporting small construction teams by assisting skilled carpenters in residential, renovation, remodeling, and commercial projects. This position involves heavy physical labor and requires local travel to various job sites. The Carpenter's Helper ensures efficient workflow through material handling, tool maintenance, and site upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Handle and organize construction materials efficiently
- Maintain and care for carpentry tools and equipment
- Keep the job site clean and safe
- Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and other tasks
- Load and unload materials and supplies at job sites
- Support team members to ensure timely project completion
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in construction environments
- Familiarity with basic carpentry tools and measuring instruments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Effective time management abilities
