- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware

This position is based in Sooke, BC.
The salary ranges from $22.00 to $40.00 per hour.
This is a full-time position.
You will prepare layouts, measure and cut materials, build foundations and walls, install floor beams and subflooring, and fit trim items like doors and moulding.
You will work with wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
