We are looking for experienced meat production employees for a well-known meat company in Hamilton, ON. You will be working with various raw/cooked/smoked meats including chicken, beef, and pork!

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (please be flexible as the end times vary day to day)
Pay: $18/hr+ depending on experience
Position Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire

Your duties will include:

• Performing a variety of production tasks while following HACCP and operational practices related to the area.
• Working on the stuffing line and racking sticks of meat product.
• Portioning various meats (e.g., ribs, pork) into bins.
• Working in the meat pumping area.
• Cutting meat to prepare for production.
• Working in cold storage.
• Prepping racks of meat for smokehouse cooking.
• General cleaning of machines and tools.
• Pushing/pulling buggies of meat to required areas.
• Weighing and loading meat into production buggies.

Requirements:

• Must be able to handle the physical demands of the role.
• This role can be physically demanding at times, so applicants must be comfortable with lifting more than 50 lbs and pushing/pulling throughout the shift.
