The automotive technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the performance and safety of passenger cars and light trucks. This position involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical problems
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on passenger cars and light trucks
- Perform routine inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Replace worn or defective parts efficiently
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Utilize automotive tools and diagnostic equipment proficiently
- Troubleshoot complex vehicle issues and determine appropriate solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automotive repair
- Valid driver's license
- Expertise in automotive diagnostics and engine repair
- Knowledge of brake systems and electrical systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance procedures
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
