TheSkilledLabourerplays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects by performing tasks such as site preparation, debris removal, and providing support to other team members. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, a willingness to learn, physical endurance, and a positive, responsible attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre, mid, and post construction clean-up.
- Performing any manuallabourincluding clean-up, sweeping, stacking, and moving materials.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Flatwork and forming.
- Follow allsafety policies and procedures on the jobsite, andreport violations to the Site Superintendent.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Assistcarpenters and other skilled tradespeople.
- Daily site maintenance.
- Otherdutiesasrequired.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in First Aid or Safetyan asset.
- Valid Class 5 driverslicense with own reliable transportation.
- Able to perform heavy lifting and other manuallabour.
- Able tooperateand maintainvarioustools and equipmentto complete tasks.
- Able tooperatea skid steer and/or telehandler.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- A team player who is willing to help as needed to get the jobdone.
- Willing and able to take, understand,and follow directions.
- Strong workethic,positive team player,high standards, and personal accountability.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manuallabour, lift heavy objects,bend,crouch, and/orkneelforlong periodsof time throughoutthe day.
- Good manual dexterity.

- Able to workoutsidein a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentin all weather conditions.
- Attention to detail anda commitmentto accuracy.
- Works well with minimal supervision whilemaintaininga high-quality product.

Experience Required:
- 1-2yearsconstruction experience preferred.
- General understanding of construction practices.
- Basic knowledgeof hand and power tools is an asset.
The ideal candidate will be able to take the initiative and work independently as well as in a team environment.

Rate of Pay:
- Wage of$25to $30per hour(theactualwageofferedwill becommensuratewith education and experience).
