Forklift Operator Weekends Fri-Sun (1652)

A distribution Center Company located in Georgetown, ON is currently seeking a Full-Time Forklift Operator to start immediately.

WE OFFER:

• Temp to Perm
• Weekly paychecks

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

Schedule:

• Morning Weekends shift: Fri - Sun from 5AM to 5 PM (3 days 12 hrs shift)
• Afternoon Weekend Shift: Fri - Sun from 5 PM to 5 AM (3 days 12 hrs shift)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Offloads products from trucks and rotates inventory on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis unless otherwise directed by a supervisor.
• Operates forklifts, pump trucks, and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Stacks pallets correctly, using heavy products as the base and lighter or delicate items on top.
• Stages products in the cooler, warehouse, and dock areas to ensure only quality-approved items are accessible for selection and customer delivery; consults with supervisor, QC specialist, or purchaser if quality concerns arise.
• Maintains responsibility for the accuracy and quality of all products received or shipped.
• Inspects a minimum of two cases per pallet for all incoming pallets.
• Stores all received products in designated areas or notifies the supervisor if an item cannot be stored in its assigned location.
• Alerts the supervisor or purchaser when special or non-stock items are received and stored.
• Inspects all incoming trucks according to company guidelines, including temperature, cleanliness, and sanitation checks.
• Records all deliveries in the log.
• Processes purchase orders (P.O.s) in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) after physically receiving the product

Requirements:

• A valid license for operation of Dock Stocker, Crown reach and Walkie is a must!
• 1+ years of experience operating above equipment in a warehouse environment (accident-free)
• Must have previous Shipping Receiving experience a huge asset
• Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse preferred
• Prior experience in a multi-temperature environment is an asset
• Knowledge of produce is an asset
• May be required to work longer than the scheduled work hours
