About the Clinic & Position Summary:

Looking for your next big move? Humber Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Associate DVM to join our progressive, well-established small animal practice in beautiful Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Whether it's a few months or something in between, we're happy to work with what fits your life best.

Humber Veterinary Clinic has proudly served the community since 1977, building a loyal client base and a strong reputation for high-quality care. We are a collaborative, supportive team that values mentorship, leadership, and balance. e are looking for a compassionate and skilled veterinarian who is committed to delivering exceptional care. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, collaborate with an experienced team, and grow within a practice that values clinical excellence and professional development. There is also potential for leadership responsibilities, mentorship opportunities, and future clinic ownership buy-in for the right candidate.

Our facility includes:

  • State-of-the-art CT machine
  • In-house laboratory
  • Digital X-ray and ultrasound
  • Fully equipped dental suite

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to small animal patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans with a focus on quality outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with clients to support informed decision-making
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Newfoundland & Labrador
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to patient care
  • Interest in mentorship or leadership considered an asset

  • Competitive compensation: $159,000 to $179,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)
