Seeking a reliable, dedicated candidates to join a fast pace framing company in the GTA. This role demands precision in measuring, cutting, and installing structural components according to blueprints, with strong physical stamina and problem-solving abilities. Candidates must be fully committed to the team, working a minimum of five days a week, and be ready for occasional travel to various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install framing materials accurately
- Read and interpret blueprints for project specifications
- Handle and manage construction materials efficiently
- Operate standard carpentry hand and power tools
- Use heavy machinery such as forklifts safely when required
- Collaborate within a medium team of 6-10 members
- Maintain commitment to work a minimum of five days per week
- Travel occasionally to multiple construction sites
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Training in working at heights
- Proficiency in framing techniques and blueprint interpretation
- Experience with standard carpentry tools
- Strong physical stamina for demanding tasks
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
