Job OverviewCNC Service Technician responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machine tools at customer sites and manufacturing facilities.
ResponsibilitiesInstall and commission CNC machine toolsTroubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issuesPerform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairsWork on CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders)Diagnose CNC control systems (FANUC, Mitsubishi, HEIDENHAIN)Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsReplace components (motors, drives, sensors, spindles)Perform machine alignment and calibrationComplete service reports and documentationWork directly with customers on-site
Requirements
5+ years CNC service, industrial maintenance, or machine repair experienceStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience with CNC machines in industrial environmentsAbility to read schematics and technical drawingsKnowledge of CNC controls (asset)Valid driver's licenseAbility to work independently in the field
