Role OverviewOur client, a laboratory clinic, is currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to support laboratory operations within the Sample Storage Department. Comprehensive training will be provided on all procedures, equipment, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain the sample storage unit
- Ensure proper storage and handling of patient samples in accordance with laboratory and safety protocols
- Dispose of patient samples following established biohazard and compliance procedures
- Support inventory tracking and management to ensure accurate sample organization and storage levels
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
- Follow all health, safety, confidentiality, and quality assurance procedures
- Assist with additional departmental tasks as required
- Lab coat
- Gloves
- Face shield (when required)
- Safety glasses / eye protection (when required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow strict procedures and safety guidelines
- Comfortable working in a laboratory or clinical environment
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently and within a team
- Previous experience in healthcare, laboratory, warehouse, or inventory settings is an asset but not required

This is a full-time position in Brampton, ON.
The assignment is a minimum 4-week duration, with potential for extension based on operational needs and performance.
You will prepare, organize, and maintain the sample storage unit, ensure proper storage and handling of patient samples, dispose of samples per procedures, support inventory tracking, maintain a clean and safe environment, and follow health, safety, confidentiality, and QA procedures.
PPE includes a lab coat, gloves, face shield when required, and safety glasses/eye protection when required.
Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail and organizational skills, can follow strict procedures and safety guidelines, and are comfortable in a laboratory or clinical environment. Healthcare, laboratory, warehouse, or inventory experience is a plus but not required.
Comprehensive training will be provided on all procedures, equipment, and compliance requirements.
