Integrated Staffing is currently hiring Overnight Dock Workers / Forklift Operators to support freight operations at a busy transportation dock in Saint John, NB. This is a fast paced, hands on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and thrives in a team environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Loading, unloading, and moving freight weighing up to 75 lbs
- Operating a forklift safely in a busy dock environment
- Organizing freight for city and line haul trailers
- Receiving and shipping freight accurately
- Following all safety procedures and site policies
- Using proper freight handling techniques to prevent damage
- Assisting with shipment paperwork and dock administration
- Working independently and as part of a team
Shift Details
- Monday to Friday (overnight)
- 1:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- 40 hours per week
- $18.27 + 4% Vacation = $19/hr
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification and previous forklift experience required
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Previous dock, warehouse, or transportation experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required (location is not on a bus route)
- Steel toe safety boots and high visibility vest required
- TDG and WHMIS certification required
- Clear criminal record check required prior to placement
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada with a minimum of 1 year remaining on work permit (if applicable)
