EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
ABOUT MONARK
Monark is a privately held investment and operating company with interests spanning healthcare, technology, logistics, real estate, and private investments across North America and Europe.
We build, acquire, and operate businesses that solve complex problems and create long-term value. To support the Office of the CEO, we are seeking an Executive Associate to work directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff.
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role. It is a high-trust, high-exposure position for someone who wants a front-row seat to leadership, entrepreneurship, investing, and business building.
THE ROLE
You will sit at the center of executive operations with visibility into strategic initiatives, investments, leadership decisions, and company-building activities.
One day you may be preparing briefing materials for a board meeting. The next, coordinating a cross-functional initiative, researching a new opportunity, solving a logistics challenge, or ensuring key priorities continue moving forward.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Support
Manage priorities, meetings, travel, and daily operating rhythm
Prepare executive briefings, agendas, and follow-up actions
Draft professional communications, presentations, and reports
Ensure leadership is prepared for key meetings and events
Manage information flow across multiple businesses and stakeholders
Strategic Projects
Support initiatives across healthcare, technology, logistics, real estate, and investment operations
Conduct research and prepare executive summaries
Track deliverables and maintain accountability
Identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities
Operations & Coordination
Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives
Maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting systems
Support operational reviews and process improvements
Coordinate executive meetings, travel, and events
Stakeholder Management
Interact professionally with executives, board members, advisors, investors, partners, and vendors
Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
Represent the Office of the CEO professionally
Systems & Productivity
Leverage AI and technology tools to improve efficiency
Utilize Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and project management tools
Continuously improve workflows and organizational effectiveness

You are comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You can prepare a board package, coordinate travel, research an opportunity, or solve an operational issue with equal enthusiasm.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor's degree
3-8 years of experience supporting executives, founders, entrepreneurs, family offices, consulting teams, or high-growth organizations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, technology, consulting, finance, private equity, venture capital, or professional services
Experience supporting C-suite executives or boards
Strong business acumen and analytical thinking
