Production Operator --Rotating Shifts

Our client is seeking Production Operators to work their Rotating Shifts — Days, Afternoons, and Nights. It’s a 2-week rotation.

Under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating both manual and highly automated production equipment. This person must have the ability and flexibility to perform all operations, including but not limited to:

• Liquid material handling
• Mechanical, electrical, and process automation troubleshooting
• Process control testing

These areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to:

• Work safely, following all plant rules, and reporting all near misses and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Monitor equipment condition and communicate any deficiencies to the supervisor.
• Operation and cleaning of the Sludge Press.
• Filling, running, and cleaning the production reactors.
• Transferring pickle liquor into the neutralizer and then through to the dirty and clear liquor tanks.
• Maintain the wastewater equipment, process, and logs.
• Re-feeding of finished goods.
• Assist with unloading trucks.
• Taking samples of product throughout the whole process and maintaining sample identification.
• Assist the Production Supervisor in troubleshooting and process repairs.
• Follow directions given by the Production Supervisors and Managers.
• Complete any and all other duties, as required or assigned.
