We're looking for a Project Superintendent who fits that culture: capable, accountable, professional, and genuinely proud of the work they put out.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll lead field operations on commercial interior renovation and ICI improvement projects across the GTA and national portfolio — coordinating subtrades, managing schedules, enforcing safety, and representing UBS directly with clients and building managers.

This is a relationship role as much as it is a technical one. Our clients are institutional. The environments are occupied. The expectations are high. You'll need to be someone people trust on both ends of the phone.

DAY-TO-DAY

- Manage site operations across concurrent commercial renovation projects

- Coordinate subtrades through the full project lifecycle

- Conduct site meetings, write daily reports, and maintain project documentation

- Enforce OHSA, Working at Heights, WHMIS, and UBS safety standards

- Communicate clearly with clients, property managers, and the internal project team

- Monitor schedules, flag risks, and manage the pace of work

- Handle RFIs, scope changes, and deficiency resolution

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 7–10 years in commercial construction or ICI renovation, with independent site leadership experience

- A track record of finishing jobs right — on time, on spec, without drama

- Solid knowledge of commercial subtrades and how to coordinate them effectively

- Valid G licence and own vehicle (GTA and regional travel required)

- Active safety certifications (Working at Heights, WHMIS; First Aid an asset)

- Comfortable reading drawings, managing documentation, and talking to clients

- Asbestos or mould abatement familiarity

- Gold Seal Certification

- Project management software proficiency
