Opportunity
As a Solutions Consultant, you will function as a trusted advisor to manufacturers, distributors, and industrial end users throughout British Columbia. This is not a transactional sales role.
You will work directly with customers to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend integrated safety and productivity solutions that deliver measurable value.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, relationship management, and field execution to drive revenue growth while helping customers improve workplace performance.
Responsibilities
Territory Growth & Business Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory growth strategy
- Build strong relationships with industrial distributors, manufacturers, and end users
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within key vertical markets
- Conduct facility visits, assessments, demonstrations, and customer reviews
- Create and manage a robust sales pipeline
- Assess customer safety, productivity, and operational challenges
- Position bundled solutions that address business objectives
- Deliver value-based presentations to stakeholders across multiple organizational levels
- Support customers in achieving measurable operational improvements
- Partner with distributor leadership teams to drive engagement and growth
- Conduct business reviews and collaborative planning sessions
- Support distributor sales teams through coaching, training, and joint customer visits
- Strengthen manufacturer-distributor-end user alignment
- Utilize CRM, point-of-sale data, and business intelligence tools to identify opportunities
- Analyze market trends and performance metrics
- Develop targeted growth initiatives based on customer and territory insights
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Deliver engaging product and solution training programs
- Facilitate workshops and customer education sessions
- Support sales teams with strategic account planning
- Act as a subject matter resource for customers and channel partners
- 3-5+ years of successful outside sales experience
- Experience within industrial distribution, MRO, safety, manufacturing, construction, or facility operations sectors
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing customer relationships
- Experience working with distributors and channel partners
