The Car Salon is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Tire & Lube Technician to join our mechanical division full-time. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

In this role, your primary focus will be tire services and preventative maintenance, while helping maintain a clean, organized shop environment. For the right candidate, there is also a clear pathway toward becoming an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice, based on performance and overall fit within our team.

What You'll Be Doing

Tire Services

• Tire changeovers (mount and balance)
• Seasonal tire swaps on existing wheel assemblies
• Mounting and balancing custom tire and wheel packages
• Tire rotations
• Flat tire repairs

General Shop Services

• Battery replacements
• Wiper blade installations
• Complimentary multi-point inspections
• Identifying fluid leaks and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Monitoring basic shop inventory and advising when supplies are low

Additional Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic mechanical repairs as required
• Supporting team operations during peak seasons
• Delivering exceptional customer experiences through attention to detail and professionalism

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience performing tire services and preventative maintenance
• Experience with:
• • Tire mounting and balancing
  • Tire repairs
  • Oil changes
  • Basic vehicle maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify vehicle concerns
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving abstract
