Position Overview

We are currentlyseeking an experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible forsourcing parts, completing preventative maintenance, and performing moderate repairs on a variety of mobile and heavy equipment.

The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance onthe following equipment: LP Forklifts (5),Skidsteers(4), Wheel Loader (1), Excavator (1), Scissor Lifts (3), and Boom lift (1)
  • Diagnose and complete moderate mechanical repairs on diesel-poweredmachinery
  • Source and order required parts and components for repairs and maintenance
  • Inspect equipment toidentifymechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Maintain service records and repair documentation
  • Ensure all equipmentoperatessafely and efficiently
  • Work closely with operations to minimize equipment downtime
  • Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and company procedures

Qualifications

  • Valid Diesel Mechanic License
  • Proven experience repairing andmaintainingmobile or heavy equipment
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues efficiently

  • Maintains good working relationship with vendors
  • Experience sourcing parts and managing repair needs
  • Valid drivers licencerequired
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Assets

  • Experience with construction, industrial, or fleet equipment
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • AZ/DZlicenseconsidered an asset
