The Painter will be responsible for applying paint and coatings across a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role involves working independently as well as within small or large teams, and may require occasional travel between job sites. The Painter will utilize traditional brushes and rollers, and perform related tasks such as patching, sanding, surface preparation, and priming while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by patching, sanding, and cleaning to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Apply primer and paint using traditional brushes and rollers
- Match colors accurately to client specifications
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Handle and manage painting materials and supplies efficiently
- Clean work areas and equipment after each project
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years painting experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques
- Familiarity with various paint application methods
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
